Well, is no surprise that last year we were feeling a little more cozier than right now. We were more than happy with sweatpants and fancy pj's but right now we are more than ready to put together outfits and socialize (with precaution of course...). As we slowly start to incorporate let me tell you about these 11 fashion trends ahead of time.

1. 90's GROOVE

If you need any ideas just go ahead and watch Clueless with actress Alicia Silverstone for reference. I promise you won't be disappointed. AS IF!!

So, yeah! Sheath dresses, maxi length cardigans, cropped cardigan over mini skirts, sneakers with ankle socks to name a few. Layer white t-shirts and grungy boots under silk slip dress or even pull a plaid shacket over skater jeans. When in doubt just channel Cher Horowitz.

2. SATURATED HUES

Usually you would see a transitions between pastels to more moody hues for fall but this year we're all out. Vibrant shades with an autumnal twist is what we will be going for.Be creative and express yourself with color. Mix and match unexpected combinations, like peachy orange and a bright blue or bubblegum pink.

3.LOOSE FIT DENIM

Mom jeans and loose straight-leg cuts are the most popular silhouettes, as are cross front waists for an added fun detail. Balance extra fabric when wearing these, like wearing a slim-fit tee, a cropped sweater or tailored blazer.

4. SWEATER VEST

This is a personal favorite because for our island weather is very doable. With shorts, over a shirts dress or jeans you can layer this in many ways.

5.PUFFY, QUILTED AND TEXTURED BAGS

Yesss... Let's add some texture. The chicest style for this are monochrome leather.

6. LAVENDER

We will see a ton of pale lilac and lavander. This hue was on every runway during fashion week. The best way to do this is to pick one or two statement pieces like a jumpsuit, a trouser, a floaty-midi dress and match them with other shades of purple. Monochrome is the way to go otherwise is too spring.

7. DARK ACADEMIA

Think simple, tailored pieces with lots of texture and richness...and may be a little mystery. Don't worry is what we usually called preppy. Just like if Gossip Girl and Harry Potter had a baby. 

8. CHUNKY BOOTS, SNEAKERS AND LOAFERS

This trend gives your wardrobe that edge while still being a great basic.

9. CHAIN DETAILS

Seeing chunky chain jewelry and chain details on shoes and bags too! We are totally digging it!!! 

10. NEUTRALS

This is always a classic. Create more interest in your look by mixing different hues in a monochromatic way.
